Body
The body of the Innofreight system has a special shape that is adapted to the rail clearance profile. The body has no doors, it is a closed shape with the exception of the roof. The upper side of the body is open and is designed to be loaded from above. The body is also unloaded through the top opening with the aid of a forklift truck. Forklift picks up a cotainer through the floor tunnels, rotates it and unload the content of the body through the roof. This comfortable handling allows very fast loading and unloading of mainly bulk materials, pellets, wood chips, coal, etc. The system is patented by the company Innofreight Speditions GmbH, and here it is manufactured only under license.
